I would recommend anyone to do a proper background check on any financial advisor that you meet, do not just hire the woman or the man straight away. After all, these people will know very personal things about you, and you do not want just any person to work with your finances. I learned on the hard way. I found an advisor online and we arranged a meeting that very same day. I should have known this guy did not know what he was talking about, as he talked mostly about the same things over and over.
